Early Days
Max Wilson is a 23 year old Russian Australian race car driver competing in Australian motorsport, most notably the RX8 Cup.

Max's motorsport career began with professional training under the tutelage of national rally champions at the St Petersburg Igora Drive circuit in Russia.
​
From timed runs in karts to Mazda MX5 and Subaru WRX tandem ice racing, he developed his driving style and car control on rough icy surfaces, requiring precision with no room for error.
​
This created a basis for his return to Australia and a foundation for his rally inspired circuit driving style and his adaptability to various situations.
Start Down Under
On return to Australia, Max took to circuits around NSW in a road registered Toyota 86, chasing lap times and adapting his rally training to the tarmac.
​
On application for his racing license, Max had managed to complete the examination despite brake issues that consisted throughout the session, which resulted in new connections being formed and the beginning of his association with open wheelers.
Formula Ford Training
After building some connections from the OLT Racing License Exam and some communication with other drivers in the aviation industry, Max began training under Anglo Motorsport in the Formula Ford platform, which provided new challenges and required development of his adaptability.

After tests at tracks such as SMP, Winton and Wodonga, Max was recommended to compete in the Formula RX8 championship. With developed skills and constantly growing experience, he is now undergoing further training in preparation for round 1 at SMP.
