Max Wilson’s motorsport career began on the icy tracks of Russia’s renowned Igora Drive circuit, where he trained under national rally champions.
he developed razor sharp control through tandem ice racing in Mazda MX5s and Subaru WRXs in extreme conditions, where every move had to be precise.

FROM TRACK TO sky
Upon returning to Australia, Max hit the Tracks through new south wales in a Toyota 86, pushing for faster lap times and adapting his rally skills to tarmac racing.
Through relationships built during the OLT Racing License Exam and conversations with fellow drivers in the aviation industry, Max began training with Anglo Motorsport in the Formula Ford platform. This transition introduced new challenges, requiring him to refine his adaptability and skill set.
After testing at tracks like SMP, Winton and Wodonga, Max was recommended to compete in the Formula RX8 championship. Now, with his skills and experience growing, he is undergoing further training in preparation for Round 1 at SMP.
Away from racing, Max is a commercial pilot, mastering the same level of focus and quick decision-making required in motorsport. His drive to challenge himself is what sets him apart - whether in the sky or on the track.
